It's a calm and serene afternoon in the Savanah while a couple from the Black Rock lion pride is away from the group for several days as they are mating. New babies will continue the saga. I spent the day photographing them in the distance with my Canon 600mm lens and a 2x converter, so they have enough privacy and intimacy.
