DUST SYMPHONY
AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK. KENYA
The largest mammal on Earth, and one of the most endangered ones is now, in Amboseli National Park, recovering population due to the conservation politics. Dusting is part of the daily cleaning routine of this bull elephant. The cloud of dust swirling around the elephant as it covers its body and face in a ritualistic dusting. His eyes are slightly narrowed, as though lost in serene concentration while some fine particles hang in the air, partially obscuring the elephant’s rugged skin. Different textures, skin, dust and grass converge in this magnificent creature.
